Pendant Aegir

This pendant is made of the finest jewelry bronze and has a size of approx. 2.5 cm.

The "Ægishjálmur" is an old symbol made of 4 superimposed bars with 3 points at each end. In Norse mythology, Aegir was the giant of the sea.
This helmet is a kind of masquerade (mimicry). This enables the wearer to disguise his true form and, for example, to take on a horrific appearance. Hence the name as a horror helmet.
Some people paint the symbol on their shields - with this pendant you always have the symbol with you as protection.
