Description

At the Rostock-Dierkow sea trading center are among others. some glass beads have also been found. Many of the glass beads are identified as trade beads from Haithabu, Birka, Ribe etc. In addition to a sword pommel and other items, over 100 hexagonal green lead glass beads were recovered from a former well. I reworked these lead glass beads with emerald colored lime glass. Lime glass or soft glass was used in a similar composition in the early Middle Ages.
