I made this glass woman / Venus from lapis lazuli-colored Italian glass.
The hole diameter is 3mm.
The glass woman is 4.5 cm high.
The glass beads & glass tops offered here are exclusively made by myself with Italian glass from Effetren & Vetrofond from Murano / Venice / Italy; German glass from Lauscha, Reichenbach, Neu-Gablonz and Czech glass from Bohemia handmade. Therefore, with 10 apparently identical pearls, there are never 2 of the same kind. Each individual bead is unique, wrapped by hand on the burner at approx. 1500 C ° and, depending on its size, takes time. Handmade glass beads are very robust because each piece is relaxed in the oven at 500 C ° for several hours, but glass remains glass that breaks if not handled properly. Handmade glass beads are easy to care for! You are welcome to sleep with the pearls, shower or swim in salt water. (The ring tops do not want to go into the salt water.) An occasional degreasing with a household towel or dish soap is sufficient. Like any other glass, the beads and tops can break if they fall to the ground or hit something. To store them, they are best left alone or with other glass beads in a box on a soft surface. Semiprecious stones or unglazed clay beads can, due to the rough surface, scratch the glass bead if the friction is too strong. So your grandchildren will surely enjoy the pearls as well, which even more than 3000 years old pearl finds prove. As in every glass, although it happens very rarely, there may still be some tension or an unnoticed hairline crack and the pearl can split in two. In this case, I will replace this pearl free of charge and re-thread any piece of jewelry. However, I cannot guarantee absolute equality of the pearl. Damage that was clearly caused by improper handling or external violence will not be replaced. Please submit a complaint within 4 weeks.
