Inspired by early Germanic finds from post-Roman settlements in Southern Germany, this large black glass spindle whorl with a white thread wrap is a unique handmade piece. Measuring 45 mm in diameter, 22 mm in height, and weighing a substantial 66 grams, it’s a statement piece. Though designed to resemble ancient spinning tools, its size and weight suggest it was more likely a decorative item.
